Message from Secretary

Dear Colleagues,

It is an honour and a privilege to be the Founder Secretary of chapter of IAP PEM.

The chapter is committed to work for the welfare of the children as a whole and specially the emergency section and has succeeded in doing so for the last 2 years with the guidance of all the members of the chapter, and I wish to keep the flag high as always.The aim of this chapter is to make the general paediatrician aware of the medical advancement and researches and to provide them a platform to discuss & share the knowledge and experiences from learned and experienced stalwarts in the field of Paediatric Emergency Medicine in various forms of Resuscitation of medical emergencies, Trauma and Toxicology.

I am fortunate and blessed to start the Ist DM academic program in the PEM at AIIMS Raipur and for that, I am grateful to my esteemed Director Prof (Dr.) Nitin M Nagarkar. It was a also matter a pride and privilege to host the first National Conference of IAP PEM organized by the IAP-PEM Chapter, held at AIIMS Raipur in the month of Nov 2022, which was a grand success and this conference will be a landmark in the history of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

I am sure that with the help and cooperation of all of you, the chapter will grow to a new height. We are working with efforts to implement a series of academics (Clinical Grand Rounds in the form of Emergency based case discussion with recent trends in the resuscitation measures involving various institutes across the country apart from routines dIAP activities.

On behalf of the Paediatric Emergency Medicine Chapter of IAP, I would like to thank all the members of the chapter for their direct and indirect contribution in the growth of the chapter. I would like to request all our members, EP and Pediatrician of the country to join hands and work together to take the IAP-PEM to greater heights.
